PORTO BUSO
The island of Anfora, or Porto Buso, thè last outpost of thè lagoon of Grado on the border with the lagoon of Marano and the open sea, in the past was inhabited by sedentary fishermen whose
characteristic small houses are stili well preserved. One of these, with a large area leaning forward
the sea, houses thè trattoria "Ai Ciodi", run by Mauro Tognon now helped by his sons Piero and
Cristiano. In view of its position,the menu is obviously fish-based.
It is easy and comfortable to visit the island of Porto Buso by taxi.
You can take a Venetian-style motor-boat iwhich leaves forn thè port in thè centre of Grado. The
cruise lasts about 50 minutes and it is better to book. The length of thè stopover will be agreed when
you make the booking.
